What is a Customer Persona?
A customer persona (also called a buyer persona or marketing persona) is a semi-fictional profile representing your ideal customer. It is built from real data and research, giving your marketing team a concrete human to think about when creating campaigns.
Persona vs Stereotype
A good persona is grounded in actual customer data and research — it reflects real patterns observed across many customers. A stereotype, by contrast, is an oversimplified assumption that can lead to tone-deaf marketing and missed opportunities.
