Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (fastest)
Deletion happens immediately, without waiting for us:
- Open your CoddyKit app (for example Learn Swift: Build iOS Apps).
- Sign in with the account you want to delete.
- Open the Profile tab.
- Scroll to the Account section and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm in the dialog that appears.
Your account is deleted the moment you confirm. You are signed out and can no longer sign in with that e-mail address or with the Google / Apple account that was linked to it. This cannot be undone.
Option 2 — Request deletion without the app
If you have already uninstalled the app, or you cannot sign in, ask us to delete the account instead. Use either route — both are handled the same way:
- Fill in the deletion request form at the bottom of this page, or
- e-mail support@coddykit.com with the subject “Delete my account”, stating which app the account belongs to.
Send the request from the e-mail address registered to the account, or answer our verification e-mail from it — we must confirm you own the account before deleting anything. Once ownership is verified we complete the deletion within 30 days, normally within 48 hours, and e-mail you when it is done.
What is deleted

What is kept, and for how long

| Learning records (course progress, saved code, notes) | Kept in anonymised form only. They are stripped of every identifier, so they can no longer be linked to you or to any person, and are used only for aggregate statistics. |
| Purchase and subscription records | Kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Payments are processed by Google Play and Apple — we never store your card details. |
| Encrypted backups | Backups are rotated and overwritten within 30 days, after which no copy of your personal data remains. |
| Analytics data | Already anonymised when collected (never linked to your name or e-mail). Retained up to 14 months. |
Cancel your subscription first
Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription, because subscriptions are billed by the store, not by us. Cancel it before deleting your account:
- Android: Google Play app → profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → select the app → Cancel subscription.
- iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → select the app → Cancel Subscription.
Deleting the app alone does not cancel a subscription either.
