Brand voice is the distinct personality and communication style that a brand uses consistently across all written and spoken content. It reflects who the brand is as if it were a person — the words it chooses, the rhythm of its sentences, and the attitudes it expresses.
Voice vs Tone
Brand voice stays consistent across all content; tone adjusts based on context and audience. A brand might always be warm and human (voice), but more playful on social media and more empathetic in a support email (tone). Voice is the personality; tone is the mood in the moment.
