Creating a Simple Campaign Brief
Write a clear one-page brief that guides every decision during your campaign.
What Is a Campaign Brief
A campaign brief is a short planning document that captures all the essential decisions about a marketing campaign before any execution begins. It aligns everyone involved on the objective, audience, message, channels, budget, and success criteria — preventing the costly misalignments that happen when teams execute from verbal conversations alone.
Brief Components
A complete campaign brief includes: the campaign objective, the target audience description, the core message or positioning, the channels and tactics to be used, the budget allocation, the campaign start and end dates, the deliverables needed (copy, creative, landing pages), the team responsibilities, and the KPIs that define success.
