TCG Binder: Card Collection
TCG Binder: Card Collection — Track your card collection and see exactly which numbers are missing from each set
TCG Binder: Card Collection is a free Android app on Google Play for tracking a card collection from any trading card game. Log each card with its number, rarity, condition and quantity, and every set you follow becomes a grid in which the cards you own are filled in and the missing numbers stay empty. It works without an account.

A finish line you can see, one number at a time.
Tap an empty number in a set and the add-card form opens already filled in for that card. Each card you log shrinks the grid until the set flips to complete, so the shoebox of loose cards becomes a short, specific list of what is left.
What it is
TCG Binder: Card Collection is a free-to-start Android app for cataloguing trading cards from any game and tracking how complete each set is. You log cards with number, name, rarity, condition, quantity and an optional photo, and the app recomputes set completion immediately and shows a tappable grid of missing numbers. Search and filters, collection stats, CSV export and local insights are free, and Pro adds unlimited binders and a personal value ledger.
Inside the app
What it looks like

Background
How do you work out what is missing from a trading card set?
Every set numbers its cards, so completion is simple arithmetic: the numbers you own against the total in the set. The hard part is that cards live loose in boxes and the numbers sit in no particular order. Sorting by set and number turns the pile into a checklist, and a count of owned and missing numbers per set shows which set is closest to finished. Rarity, condition and quantity matter too, because duplicates and damaged copies change what you still need to find.
Set numberthe key to completion
A card's collector number identifies its place in a set, such as card 12 of 32. Tracking by number, not by name, avoids confusion when a set has several versions of the same character or when names repeat across sets.
Raritywhy some numbers take longest
Sets mix common, uncommon and rare cards, and special variants such as secret rares or promos. The last few numbers of a set are usually the hardest to find, so seeing them isolated in a grid helps you decide where to look.
Condition and quantityowned is not the same as complete
Two copies of a card are not always equal. Recording condition and how many copies you hold lets you tell a duplicate you can trade from a single copy you need to keep, and a card in poor shape you may want to replace.
Bindersways to organise
Collectors split their cards into binders by trade stock, sleeved rares or sets still in progress. Grouping the catalogue the same way keeps the digital list in step with the physical pages.
How it works
From shoebox to finished set
The core loop takes seconds per card, and the set page does the counting.
Start a set
Begin from a sample set to see completion tracking at once, or add your own game and a custom set with the exact number of cards you are chasing.
Log the cards you have
Add each card's number, name, rarity, condition and quantity, plus a photo if you want one. Completion recalculates on the spot.
Tap a missing number
The set grid shows owned numbers filled in and the rest empty. Tap an empty one when you find it and the add-card form opens pre-filled, ready for the next card.

Fit
Who it's for — and who it isn't
A good fit if you
- Have loose cards in boxes and no idea which numbers you still need
- Collect more than one card game and want one place for all of them
- Chase a particular set and want to see the finish line shrink
- Want a catalogue with no account, stored on your phone
- Like to export your collection to a spreadsheet
Not the right tool if you
- Want live market prices; the app has no price feed and does not estimate card values
- Need card grading or authentication; it does neither
- Want a marketplace or trading with other people; there is none
- Use an iPhone; the app is on Android for now
Privacy
Where your collection is stored
TCG Binder is local-first: what you catalogue lives on your device, and your collection data is never sold. The local insights need no account and no server call.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
What is TCG Binder: Card Collection?
TCG Binder: Card Collection is an Android app for cataloguing trading cards and tracking set completion for any card game. You log cards, see a grid of missing numbers for each set, and filter by game, set, rarity or condition. It is free to start, with a Pro upgrade, and comes in 10 languages.
How do I find out which cards I am missing from a set?
Add your cards to the set with their numbers, then open the set page. Owned numbers are filled in and missing numbers are empty in a grid. Tap a missing number when you find the card and the form opens with that number already filled in.
Does it work for any trading card game?
Yes. You can start from a sample set or add your own game and a custom set with the exact card count you are chasing, so the app does not depend on any one franchise. Several games sit side by side, and the stats break down totals by game.
Does TCG Binder tell me what my cards are worth?
No. The app has no price feed and never looks up, estimates or refreshes a market value. The Pro value ledger holds numbers you type in yourself, such as what you paid, so it is a record of your own spending and not an appraisal or financial advice.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no login wall. The collection is stored on your device first, the local insights run without a server call, and your collection data is not sold.
Can I export my collection?
Yes. You can export the entire collection to CSV at any time, which means a spreadsheet or another tool can use your catalogue. Exporting is part of the free app.
Is TCG Binder free, and what does Pro add?
TCG Binder: Card Collection is free to download on Google Play. Free: unlimited cards, any game, the missing-number grid, search and filters, collection stats, CSV export, local insights and up to two binders. Pro adds unlimited binders, the value ledger, per-set spend tracking, a weekly AI-written recap and an ad-free experience.
Is TCG Binder available on iPhone?
No. TCG Binder: Card Collection is an Android app on Google Play, and there is no iPhone version. The interface comes in 10 languages.
How do I organise a big collection?
Use binders to mirror how you store cards, for example trade stock, sleeved rares or sets in progress, and use the filters to find cards by rarity or condition. The free version supports two binders, and Pro removes that limit.
