Most people wear the same three bottles.
Once a shelf passes a handful of fragrances, the favourites crowd out the rest and the others age untouched. Writing down what you wear, and how much is left, is what shows which bottles earn their place and which you have not reached for in months.
What it is
Perfume & Cologne Collection is an Android fragrance tracker and scent diary for anyone who owns more than a few bottles. You log each perfume or cologne with house, name, size, fill level, purchase price and a note pyramid, record every wear with spray count and occasion, and see a monthly calendar coloured by scent family. A daily pick suggests what to wear from your own shelf, a wishlist tracks fragrances you want to buy, and cost per wear shows what each bottle really costs you.

What it looks like

Background
How do you organise a perfume collection, and what are fragrance notes?
A perfume collection is easiest to manage when every bottle has the same few facts recorded: what it is, how much is left, what it smells like and when you last wore it. Fragrance is described as a pyramid of notes that unfold over time, which is also a handy way to compare bottles and to spot gaps or duplicates on your shelf.
Top, heart and base noteshow a scent unfolds
Top notes are what you smell first and fade within minutes, heart notes form the body of the fragrance, and base notes linger for hours. Listing all three for each bottle lets you search a shelf by a single note, such as oud or vanilla.
Concentrationparfum, EDP, EDT, cologne
The type of a bottle signals its strength: parfum and eau de parfum are more concentrated and usually last longer than eau de toilette or cologne. Recording the type and size helps when you compare how long different bottles last on your skin.
Decants and samplestry before you buy
A decant is a small portion split into a travel atomizer, and a sample is a vial from a shop. Both let you test a fragrance across several wears before committing to a full bottle, which is the cheapest way to avoid a blind buy.
Cost per wearthe honest price
Dividing what you paid by how many times you have worn a bottle shows which purchases are good value. A rarely worn fragrance becomes expensive per wear, which is useful information before the next purchase.
How it works
How the app works day to day
Set the shelf up once, then use two taps a day to keep the diary going.
Add your bottles
Log each bottle with house, name, type, size, fill level, purchase date and price. Quick-fill from a built-in list of well-known releases or enter anything by hand, then add the note pyramid and a photo.
Check Today and log a wear
Pick the season and the occasion, see the daily pick from your own collection and tap Log this wear. Add a spray count and occasion if you like.
Review and plan the next buy
Open the scent diary calendar and Week in Review, check which bottles are running low or due to rotate, and move a wishlist item through curious, sample ordered, testing and verdict.

Fit
Who it's for — and who it isn't
A good fit if you
- Own more than a few perfumes or colognes and lose track of what you have
- Want to know which bottles you actually wear and which sit untouched
- Test samples and decants before buying and want to keep the verdicts
- Like seeing cost per wear and a projected empty date
- Enjoy a daily suggestion chosen from your own shelf
Not the right tool if you
- Want a store or a marketplace, because the app only catalogues bottles you own or want
- Expect a full database of every fragrance, as the built-in list covers well-known releases only
- Need more than 20 bottles for free, since unlimited bottles are part of Pro
- Use an iPhone, as the app is available for Android
Privacy
Your shelf, your data
You can start as a guest, and signing in with Google or email is optional. Bottles, wishlist and wear log are stored on the app's server under your account so they sync, and nothing is posted to a feed or shared with other users. Photos stay on your device. AI features ask permission first and send only fragrance names, note pyramids and season or occasion tags.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
What is the best app to manage a perfume collection?
A good one records the details that matter, such as the notes, the fill level and what you paid, and then makes use of them. Perfume & Cologne Collection logs each bottle with a note pyramid and fill level, keeps a scent diary of every wear, shows cost per wear and suggests what to wear from your own shelf. It is free to start on Android.
How do I keep track of my fragrances and how much is left?
Record the size and update a fill level as you use each bottle. Perfume & Cologne Collection shows fill level as a percentage, estimates a burn rate and a projected empty date, and lists bottles that are running low. Decants are tracked in millilitres for both the source bottle and the atomizer.
What does the daily pick do?
The Today tab suggests a fragrance from your own collection based on the season and occasion you choose, when you last wore each bottle and how much is left. An optional one-line AI reason appears under the pick, and a Time to Rotate list surfaces fragrances you have not worn in months.
Can I log wears and see how long a fragrance lasts?
Yes. Logging a wear takes two taps and can include spray count and occasion. An optional check-in a few hours later asks whether it is still there and how far it carried, so each bottle builds a picture of how long it lasts on your skin.
Is Perfume & Cologne Collection free?
It is free to start on Google Play. The free version allows up to 20 bottles, with one extra slot for 30 days if you watch a short ad, plus the full wishlist, unlimited wear logging, the scent diary, decants, archive, the daily pick and Week in Review, and it shows ads. Pro adds unlimited bottles, layering, Note DNA, Shelf Fit, Shelf Value, running-low alerts, CSV export and no ads.
Does the app share or sell my collection?
No, nothing in the app is posted to a feed or shared with other users. Your data is stored under your account so it can sync, and photos stay on your device. You can start as a guest and sign in later if you want your shelf on more than one device.
Is Perfume & Cologne Collection on iPhone or Android?
Perfume & Cologne Collection is available on Android through Google Play, in 10 languages; there is no iPhone version at the moment. House and fragrance names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to catalogue your own bottles.
