An install is not done until you prove it works. The fastest proof is asking Mojo to report its own version. ✅

The Version Command

Inside your activated project, run mojo with the --version flag. A clean version string means the compiler is reachable.

mojo --version

Reading the Output

The output names the language and a version number like 24.x. That number tells you exactly which release you are on.

Why Versions Matter
