为 Compose 设置 Android Studio

Android Studio is the official IDE for Android. It bundles the editor, build tools, emulator, and Compose preview in one place, so it is your home base. 🛠️

Always install the latest stable Android Studio from the official site. Newer releases ship better Compose tooling, live previews, and faster builds.

The Android SDK holds the platform libraries and tools to compile your app. Android Studio installs it for you on first launch, no manual download needed.

Choose Empty Activity when you start a new project. This template is already wired for Compose, so you skip all the manual Gradle setup.

Gradle is the build system. It downloads the Compose libraries, compiles your Kotlin, and packages everything into an installable app for you.

Your module's build file lists the Compose libraries you depend on. The template adds them, but it helps to recognize what they look like.

Compose is Kotlin-only, and Android Studio ships the Kotlin compiler ready to go. No separate install, you write Kotlin from your very first file.

After any change to build files, click Sync Now. This makes Android Studio fetch new libraries and refresh the project so code completion works.

The emulator is a virtual phone on your computer. Open Device Manager, create a virtual device, and you can run apps without any real hardware.

An emulator needs a system image, the Android version it runs. Pick a recent API level so your Compose app has all the newest features available.

Prefer a physical phone? Enable USB debugging in Developer Options, plug it in, and Android Studio will list it as a run target too.
