Why Security Roles Matter
Security is a team sport, and clear roles keep tasks from slipping through the cracks. The exam tests who owns which security decision.
Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

Data Owners, Custodians, and Users
Data needs three roles: the owner decides classification and access, the custodian implements the controls, and the user follows the rules to do their job.

Incident Response Team (CSIRT)
A CSIRT is the cross-functional team that handles incidents, following a written response plan. Build it before a breach — assembling one mid-crisis wastes precious time.
End User Responsibilities
Security is everyone's job, and end users are both the first target and the last line of defense. Follow the policy, report suspicious emails, and use strong passwords and MFA.
