Score Review and Weak-Area Remediation
Analyse your mock exam score by domain, identify topics below the passing threshold, and build a focused study plan for each weak area before sitting the real AZ-900 exam.
Analysing Your Mock Exam Score
After completing all three mock exam sections, your score analysis should begin by calculating your percentage correct in each domain separately — not just overall. An 80% overall score that hides a 60% in security and governance still represents exam risk, because that domain accounts for 30–35% of the real exam. Map each missed question to its specific lesson topic and create a focused study list. The goal is not perfect recall of facts but confident reasoning about scenarios.
Domain 1 Weak Areas: Cloud Concepts
Common Cloud Concepts weak areas and remediation:
- Confused Elasticity vs. Scalability → Elasticity = automatic; Scalability = ability. Revisit 'Key Cloud Benefits and Economies of Scale'.
- Shared Responsibility misapplied to SaaS → Draw the responsibility table by hand for all three service models.
- Confused CapEx and OpEx → CapEx = upfront purchase; OpEx = monthly bill. Revisit 'Cloud vs. Traditional On-Premises'.
