ASO metrics are key performance indicators (KPIs) that help us measure visibility, user interest, and conversion in app stores.

Tracking these numbers is crucial for making smart decisions and improving your app's success.

Understanding Impressions

First up: Impressions. This metric tells you how many times your app was shown to users in the app store.

  • It includes appearances in search results.
  • It includes appearances in "Today" tabs, "Games" or "Apps" tabs, or featured lists.

It doesn't mean users clicked your app, just that they saw it. High impressions mean your app has good visibility!
