Instead of saying "I don't like it," point to the exact step you want changed. Clear feedback gets clear results.

Name the step number or quote the line you mean.

If a step adds something you didn't ask for, say so. The plan should match your goal, not more.

Cutting extra steps keeps the app simple and easier to build.

If you notice a gap, ask the AI to add a step for it. You know your idea best, so trust those moments.

Tell it where the new step should go in the order.

If a step confuses you, just ask. You don't have to pretend you understand.

A good AI assistant will explain in simple words. Understanding the plan helps you guide it better.

When refining, try to change one thing per message. Asking for ten changes at once gets confusing fast.

Small, focused edits keep the conversation clear and the plan tidy.

The AI can suggest improvements you didn't think of. Ask it where the plan could be better or simpler.

You stay in charge — but a second opinion often helps.

After each change, ask the AI to show you the updated plan. Read it again to make sure it's what you wanted.

This stops small misunderstandings from growing into big ones.

As you add things, some steps can get crowded. If a step now does many jobs, ask to split it again.

Keeping each step small makes the building part much smoother later.

You don't need a perfect plan — just a good enough one to start building. Trying to perfect every detail can waste time.
