SSHとTailscaleによるリモートアクセス

Your Gateway runs locally, but you do not have to be home to use it. Remote access lets you reach it from anywhere. 🌍

Remote access does not move your assistant to the cloud. It stays self-hosted on your hardware; you just open a safe path to it.

OpenClaw documents two ways to connect remotely: SSH and Tailscale. Both keep the link private instead of exposing it openly.

SSH gives you an encrypted shell into the machine running your Gateway, so you can manage it securely from a remote computer.

SSH is a standard, well-tested tool many developers already use, which makes it a dependable choice for reaching your Gateway.

Tailscale builds a private network between your devices, so your Gateway feels local even when you are far away.

With Tailscale, devices connect as if on the same LAN. You skip exposing ports to the public internet entirely.

Both options matter because you should not put a Gateway with full system access on the open internet. Keep the path private.

Remote access does not replace your other controls. Keep allowlists and required mentions in place even on a private link.
